I will put it all on the line for you, Always ---2019

I knew my little girl was in the rough times with the new Dark Lord. He had been another student at the school who has gained quite a following. I will not let my little girl join them. Emmy and I had been talking about the way we can help her. What we can do for her, anything to get her away. It had come to the point I knew I needed to do something only a father can do. I was going to take her place. I had spent a romantic night with Emmy and spent time with the kids. I don't know why Meredith changed to the dark side. Why she felt the need to destroy herself.

I walked around the house as I looked around. Walking from our room to the kids rooms. Ally's, Charlie's and then Meredith's. I ran a hand through my hair, I left the house and walked to where I knew the meeting would be. I heard the death eaters talking, " Hello.." I said swallowing deeply.

We were all mulling about, waiting for the Dark Star to arrive and tell us of his plans.  I heard movement and turned when I heard an oh-so-familiar voice.  I grinned darkly as it was William Lupin.  "Well, well... what do we have here?" I said, though we all knew who he was and why he was there.  So save his precious little daughter... if the Dark Star would grant it, of course.

My other side wanted to get closer to Nolan to shut him up and shut him up permanently. " You all know why I'm here." I said as the death eaters started to gather. My other side didn't like being cornered as I started to become overly aware of my surroundings. I knew why I was doing this and it was only a matter of minutes before my daughter shows up here. I was going to trade my life for hers.

I heard Greyback speaking, I looked around and saw Lupin. " Well, wolfboy..." I said as I walked over to his right. " I guess here to save the poor ickle girly?" I asked him as my smile grew when he tensed up. " Making you nervous are we boy?" I asked.

"If the Dark Star allows the trade, that is," I pointed out, cracking my knuckles and neck.   I was sure that he would allow us to havea  little fun with Lupin, but we were not to touch until we were told.

I got to the meeting place and heard some of the taunting. Then I heard it. Wolfboy.. My heart almost stopped, why was dad here? I got to the meeting and dad was in the middle of this. What, I stayed quiet as I watched the scene before me. Trade...why is he trying to trade anything?

I sniffed the air.  "Oh yes... I do smell some nerves... this is going to be quite... delicious," I said, sneering, showing my longer teeth.  With going more towards my wolf side all the time, I always had some characteristics -- just like dad did.

I had gone over to check on the Lupins and Emelyn told me what was going on.  I went straight back for Meredith's room; she was gone.  I swore under my breath and was able to figure out where Meredith was going -- which meant that was where Will was.  I got there and saw Mere standing in the shadows.  I went up to her, putting a hand over her mouth lightly and a hand on her shoulder gently, I only covered her mouth so she would not scream.  "It's Uncle Dean," I whispered.  "What are you doing here?" I knew what Will was going to do and I did not want Mere there to see what was going on.  And I was not going to let Will go through with it if I could help it, either.  I just needed to get them both out of there.

I nearly screamed when someone touched my shoulder. Then I heard uncle Dean talk. I turned to face him and yet there was a pain in my heart to know that I have disappointed my dad and uncle Dean. I have always been the problem for them. Here I never felt like a problem. " He can't mean a trade...." I said as I was confused on what he wanted.

" The only nerves here greyback.....are for my daughter. Do not consider me afraid. " I told him not raising my voice whatsoever. I knew Meredith was here and my hope was that Dean got here to get her out of here. I knew that she was feeling left out because Em isn't her biological mother. Her mother died when we were sixteen. I walked towards Greyback slowly as I knew how the family was. I knew he had children at Hogwarts now. I didn't know who would spawn with the likes of him. That is beside the point.

I felt a vice grip around my heart; I knew exactly what Will was going to do.  I promised him that I would make sure that Meredith would be okay and safe and to get her out of there without being hurt.  But how could I just leave my brother in there to fend for himself?  I took a deep breath, holding onto Meredith's arm firmly, but not tightly.  "We need to go," I whispered to her quickly.  "He doesn't want you to be here for this.  I will come back and get to him.  I promise you that."  I hoped that Mere would at least listen to me.

What the hell was he doing?! " He can't.....he can't mean that he's taking my place. He's joining the Dark Lord?" I asked him turning frantic quite quickly. He can't leave the others behind. I was doing this for reasons only known to me. How could he think it was this easy to stop anything that had already been put in motion. I mean, Seth has helped me more than anything to get through this. now dad wants to take my place so I don't get hurt. I looked to Uncle Dean, " I don't want him to take my place...." I said quietly. Not sure why my dad would insist on this. I nodded at the look I was getting as I went with Uncle Dean, " How can we just leave him?" I felt like a little girl again. I saw my moments with my dad flash by my eyes. He was there for everything for me. Of course he had gramps and grandma helping but he was there. " What have I done?" I finished quietly.

I could not help but laugh at him.  "Bravery?" I said, sneering at him.  "Or stupidity?  I suppose we shall find out soon enough."

I held onto her shoulders and looked deep into her eyes.  "You've made mistakes, but it will be alright," I said, though I had a bad feeling that I was lying through my teeth.  "And we aren't leaving him -- not really.  I will get to him and get him out of here.  I will not leave him alone."  I just knew that we were working on borrowed time.  I did not acknowledge the taking of Meredith's place.  She thought that it might end up with hiim as a Death Eater; I knew otherwise.  I had a feeling that the Dark Star had no plans on making either one of them a Death Eater... not with his vendetta against the Lupins for killing Bellatrix.  

<< What was the entire plan with this again?  I kno that Dean was going to be there and unable to save WIll (obviously).  But was Mere going to be there, still, too to see her dad die? >>

"That is up to you to perceive." I said with no breaking eye contact. " My daughter will be leaving...now." I said to everyone. I was hoping Dean would have her gone by now. I was hoping all of my family knew how much they meant to me. I knew I wouldn't be leaving here. I was fine with that if I knew my family was safe.

(( I think we had it going about that Meredith would get pulled away by Dean.....to make sure she wouldn't actually see Will die....possibly Dean sees him?))
