Hidden objects -- TBD

We were just casually lounging around in the common room after one of our crazy nights out during the full moon, as per usual.  I was stretched out on one of the couches by the fireplace and I was just looking around as we were all pretty stuffed on some sweets we swiped from the kitchens -- Remus was having a chocolate craving.  I swore he was worse than a woman sometimes.  Though I had a feeling it was because he wanted to try to poison the wolf inside him...

My train of thought got interrupted and I sat up abruptly. "Oi, mates," I said, standing up and going to the plant on the side of the fireplace.  "What do you lot make of this?" I asked, picking a bra out of greenery.

I was still nibbling on a piece of chocolate when James got up and found the undergarment.  I chuckled and said, "That could be your sister's."  I just wanted to see how he would react to that.

I laughed loudly at what Moony said; he was sarcastic and witty, he just never had a chance to show it because of Padfoot and Prongs always being the life of the party.  "Sorry," I added quickly when I saw James' look of repulsion.

I gave a bark of a laugh, " that is true prongs....moony made a good point. Although....it's sort of reminding me of that muggle story evans told me about except it's a bra and not a shoe....." I finished my solution slowly as I knew the looks I was getting. Grinning, " Odd things stick with me ..."

I glared at Remus when he said that and then at the other two.  I examined the bra a little bit.  "Nah, can't be Ember's," I said easily, sitting back down.  "I grew up with her and all her stuff... doesn't look the right size..." I trailed off getting the same look from them that we had just given Sirius for his story.

"Wonder if it's Evans...." I mused.

I finally tore my eyes away from my chocolate and book and looked at the bra James was holding.  "Well, there's a good way to figure out who's it is, you know," I pointed out to James and the guys.  "Just look at the size... it's too big to be any younger students' bra.  They aren't that developed.  If we want to assume that it's one of the main girls'... it isn't big enough to be Chloe's.  James has awkwardly established it isn't Ember's.  That would mean it's Lily's.  Though we're avoiding the rest of the dorm."  

I returned to reading my book, but felt the stares of James, Peter, and Sirius.  I looked up at them.  "What?" I asked.

I was staring at Remus.  "You... just wow," I said, shaking my head slgihlty.  "I would have never expected that out of you, Moony..."

"You just brought being clever to the level of being a guy," I said to Remus, laughing.  "Brilliant... but totally unexpected, mate."  I could not help but shake my head at Moony.  I could not believe he could still surprise us like that.

I continued reading again and merely chuckled at James' awe.  "I am just full of surprises, Prongs," I assured him.  "That's why I'm the best out of you lot -- I just don't flaunt it."

I laughed at them.  "Moony, I'll just say that you are such a guy.  No matter how much you want to deny that fact," I said, shaking my head.

I sat with a grin as Moony spoke, " well then.." I said as I stretched. " You could always just leave it out in the open and see who loses her mind at us being so close to her bra?" I suggested. " That way there is no guessing."

I tilted my head in agreement with Sirius as I continued reading my book.  "There's an idea," I commented.  "Just keep in mind she may act all cool just to keep from being embarrassed and eternally harassed by us."

That is true. " Hm....I don't know then. I mean she could have her wits. But I doubt it. Girls get all weird with that sort of stuff." I pointed out.

I nodded, having to agree with my mate.  "He is definitely spot on about that," I said.  "Ems hates it when I'm anywhere near her laundry like this..."

" So naturally it would be an explosion if she sees it." I shrugged as I stretched myself out. " Perhaps wait and see."
