What was I thinking? - TBD

I laughed an shook my head.  "And it's me," I said to her.  "I have to fill the silence... I hate silences.  You should really know this by now."

I rolled my eyes and really wanted to smack him, but I could not.  His goofy grin just told me not to.  "I hate you," I said to him jokingly, shaking my head.  "I know you always love to fill silences... and it's always with nonsense."

"Well, duh," I said to her, nudging her playfully.  "Why don't we go to the kitchens or something?  C'mon, you need a pick-me-up."  I stood up and offered her my hand.  It was in a friendly manner... but kind of not in the same way.

I sighed and let him lead me out of the Tower.  "Fine... just... don't get us into trouble, Taylor," I said ot him playfully.  I was glad that at least someone in our House liked me still.

I rolled my eyes at her.  "When are you ever afraid of trouble?  I mean, so long as it doesn't interfere with quidditch or exams," I added.  I knew that Ana was a rather studious intelligent girl; she did not act like it at times, but it was true.  She poured her mind into everything she did -- tactics on the pitch or memorizing facts about certain things for studies.  She did not want to ruin any chances she had at getting into the Ministry.

I smirked.  "I think you just made my point for me," I said to him, following him easily enough.  I was surprised that he knew me well enough to say something like that as I was older than him.  "What are you up to, though?  I don't like surprises, Wes."

I looked at her.  "I'm just going to take you to the kitchens to grab some treats," I said to her simply.  I grinned and started to lead the way down to the basement.  "Perhaps we can crash the Hufflepuff common room, too..." That was always fun.

I laughed, a bit relieved as I was expecting something far worse when it came to Wes.  "Oh, okay," I said to him, following him a bit easier than before.  "And I don't think it can be called crashing if they willingly let you in, either, Wes."

I chuckled at Ana.  "Ah, well, you do have a point there," I said to him.  "Especially when Thad is involved."

I laughed and followed Wes down to the basement still.  "So... are you getting Thad to let us in?  Or one of the girls?" I asked as we quietly went down the corridor towards the painting that would lead us to the kitchen.

I shrugged.  "I don't think it really matters at this point," I said to Ana.  "I am pretty sure they let anyone in with the way Hufflepuffs are.."

I laughed and had to agree with Wes. "Ah, well, that's very true," I said to him.  "They do tend to let anyone in..."

I looked at Ana and shook my head. "We're terrible," I admitted with a chuckle. I sighed. "Meh, oh well. I guess it's all good, right?" It was not like they would kick us out or anything.

I smirked. "Let's just get in before anyone hears us shit talking," I said, nudging him playfully while we walked towards the basement. "I wonder if they will feed us..." sometimes the Hufflepuffs were totally stereotypical... other times, not so much.

I chuckled and looked at Ana. "If we run into Thad, perhaps... Marie, not so much," I pointed out to her as I led the way to basement. "It would depend on which Puff you'd run into basically."
