Lincoln Riley Matthews
Name: Lincoln Riley Matthews
Adopted Parents: Riley Matthews (Muggle-Born wizard) & Genevieve Carrow-Matthews (Pureblood)
Grandparents: Stephan Matthews and Veronica Matthews
Biological Parents: Mia Slughorn (pureblood) and Samual Hutchinson (muggle)
Siblings: Austin Matthews (younger, deceased at age 4)
Wife: Juniper Malfoy
Child(ren): Abel and Elliot (adopted)
Birthday: 3 July 1979
House: Ravenclaw
Wand: Thestral hair and Rowan, 12.5 inches
Patronus:
Personality: Lincoln is quiet and reserved for the most part. He doesn't like to be touched due to his abusive parents. He is sweet, kind, and can easily be sarcastic. Linc has a tendency to only vocalize to defend the "little man" unless called on by a teacher.
Bio:
Before School Years: Lincoln has always been a protector for his younger brother who was three years his junior. His parents were abusive, but not always too bad. Things got worse the older he became. Austin hardly ever got hit -- but that was because Linc always stepped in, always took the blame, always made sure his brother was okay. Because of this, Austin quickly and easily became the favorite and that made Lincoln smile. But things could never stay the same and they never got better.
Lincoln did his first bit of magic while protecting his own life. He can never remember how it started, just how it ended. His parents started arguing and yelling at him. His mother was always worse than his father - he at least got some good days with his dad that he cherished no matter what. Lincoln always wondered if his dad was under the Imperius Curse or something because he acted so differently at times when his mother was away for a few days than whenever she was around. But that day was one he would never forget. His mom had sent a curse at him, which he somehow managed to put up a protection spell around himself. Of course it was no match for his mother's powerful magic, but he protected himself enough to prevent himself from dying. He had been five at the time. Linc was still severely injured, but he had survived, though years following he almost wished he had died that night
He had always been so good at protecting his younger brother, until that fateful day when he was seven and Austin was four. The two of them had been going to the play room when his dad had started in on them for something that Lincoln could not remember. The reason really did not matter, the outcome, however, did. He was taking hits from his dad when he saw Austin was getting close and it looked like he was going to protect Lincoln. Linc, however, did not want Austin to get hit. So he pushed him somewhat to get out of the way. Austin was only four years old and lost his footing. He fell down those dreaded hardwood stairs and laid at the bottom, bloodied and lifeless. After that day, his parents blamed him for the death of his little brother along with himself. And things only got worse for him.
During School Years: His parents expected him to be Sorted into Slytherin, their own House, but he was instead Sorted into Ravenclaw. He was not entirely sure why, but was grateful for it. He stayed to himself the most that he could, though. He would prefer not to draw attention to himself. He was an excellent student, but he dreaded going home. He never left Hogwarts during the holidays and he had few friends. All of which he was okay with. He did, however, continue to try to protect those he could. He always stood up for the underdog - and was surprisingly good at it according to teachers and other students. He never used magic against another student unless he had to, but when he stepped in, he normally could talk the bully out of what they were planning on doing with his excellent charisma skills.
The only thing he hated about Hogwarts was the fact that students were always so close together it seemed... too close. He hated to be touched and often ate at odd times to avoid the other students bumping him accidentally. Lincoln would always be on high alert due to his home life. In his third year, his mother ended up killing his father. He was actually told shortly beforehand that he was adopted. His father was suppose to save him from the life he was living... until his mother came home. She was sent to Azkaban to rot -- which he was actually grateful for. However, it meant that his grandparents took him in. And they were no more kind than his parents. He always wanted to say something, but never wanted to rock the boat at home. If they found out he had told any of the professors, when he came home for the summer holiday, he would have hell to pay.
After School Years: He looked into his family history more clearly than he ever had before. Lincoln had never realized that his biological father had been a Muggle-born and his mother had been a pure-blood witch -- a part of the Slughorn family bloodline, actually. Professor Horace Slughorn's daughter had been running away from the dark times and had married a Muggle. His father apparently never realized who he had married, whose name was Mia Slughorn. She was born in 1953, which made her around the same year as her parents. Slughorn would have been around the age of 40 when he had his daughter... but Lincoln never really did understand why Slughorn and his daughter, Mia, to stop talking. He was going to be talking to his grandfather about that.

Re: Lincoln Riley Matthews
Well... it's a reunion now! Well... no, that's not right. We need Abel and Uncle Draco and his family. This is nowhere near close to a reunion, Max.
