Re: Newborn Baby Girl -- 1978
I rolled my eyes at Tobi. "Thanks, Mum," I said, taking my goddaughter into my arms -- well, I was assuming that was what would end up happening. "I still can't get over the fact that she is so adorable."

I chuckled and stood up. "I don't think any of us will stop thinking that," I assured my daughter. I looked over at one of my adoptive children and smiled. "Tobi, would you like me to get you anything? Water or something to eat, perhaps?" I asked kindly.

I readjusted myself a little bit and smiled at Mrs. Potter. I loved her like she was my own mother, much more than mine anyways. "Oh, just some water, please," I said, slightly surprise she offered to go grab something.

I was holding little Jada and looked up at my mum. "Don't offer me anything," I whispered jokingly. I knew it was time to dote on Tobi and her newborn baby girl.

I chuckled. "Oh, hush," I said to my daughter as I stood up. I went out into the hall to fetch some water for Tobi, some caffeine for my daughter, adn some tea for myself. I figured the girls would want a little alone time, so I did not hurry back.

I rolled my eyes at Ember while her mum went to go some water. "You're mum is the best," I said, knowing that things were hard with my family. I was grateful that they sort of took me in -- kind of like they did with Sirius.

Of course she was. We all knew that. "Well duh," I said to Tobi aloud, grinning at her.

I returned with some drinks and set them down. "Hey girls," I said, interrupting them. "Ems, you have some soda... here's your water, Tobi." I moved the proper drinks closer to the girls. "We might not want to stay too late, Ember." Tobi was starting to look tired.

"Thank you, Mrs. P," I said to her, adjusted myself to be able to drink some of the water that was given for me. I smiled at them. "Stay however long you like," I assured them.

I looked over at my mum and smiled at her. "You're right," I said to her. Tobi did look rather tired. Little Jada was sleeping soundly -- for now. "Maybe we should let the new mum get some rest."

"I think that a wise idea, Ember, darling," I agreed. I stood up and took the little baby girl and put her into the baby bed. I looked at October. "We'll come visit in the morning. You need to sleep when she's sleeping. And don't worry about going back to school and whatnot... I will take care of dear Jada as I said." I kissed my second daughter on the forehead.

I felt tears come ot my eyes as I smiled at Mrs. P and Ember. "Thank you," I said to them, letting them lean down and hug me so I did nto have to move. I was very sore and rather tired. Ijust had not wanted to kick them out. "I'll see you both in the morning?" I questioned, hoping that they would come to visit.

"Of course," I assured her. I bent and hugged Tobi the best that I could. "Love you, sis," I said to her, winking. I bent down and gave my little niece a kiss on her forehead very carefully. I did not want to wake her up.

I walked out with my daughter. "We'll be back in the morning," I assured her gently.

Re: Newborn Baby Girl -- 1978
I drifted off to sleep and when I woke in the morning, it was with the Healers who were helping care for Jada at the moment. I adjusted myself and got to feeding my daughter. I felt exhausted still, but I had to get used to that feeling, right? There was a light knock on the door and I saw Ember and Mrs. P back. I laughed a bit and nodded them inside. "You really did mean morning, eh?" I teased, adjusting my baby girl.
