Don't view me any differently -- Summer 2001

I grinned at Alfred.  "I am so happy to hear that," I said to him, giving him another hug.  "Because I was really nervous to tell you.  I know how you can get."

I shrugged out of Ellie's arm and gave Maisie just a quick hug for the second one.  I smiled sheepishly by what Maisie said.  "I'd be nervous to tell Mum and Dad," I said to her easily.

I laughed and shook my head.  "They were happy for me," I said to Maisie.  "So i think they'd be okay that Maisie is pregnant -- even if she isn't married."

I was glad that Ellie thought that our parents would be happy for us.  I grinned because I could not help it.  "I hope so," I said honestly.  "I just hope that you're right, Ellie."

I sighed and shrugged.  "I'm not entirely sure if that's true," I said.  "I'd be worried... but that's just me."

I rolled my eyes at Al.  "Stop being so pessimistic," I said to him.  For a Hufflepuff he was always so gloomy about things.  We both called him a worry wart because that was all Alfred ever did it seemed.

I bit my lip.  "I am nervous," I assured the two of them, "but if you two would be there when I told them... it would mean a lot to me." If my siblings were there, Mum and Dad could not be as upset, right?

I sighed. As much as it pained me to say, I would always be there for my sister. "You know that we'll be there," I said grumpily. I wanted her to know I was not necessarily happy about it, but I was going to support her nonetheless.
