Personality:  Desi is a very easy going and outspoken girl.  She travels all over the world with her parents... and she loves it. She is glad that she makes friends easily as it is hard to keep them for longer than a year or so anyways with how often she moves.  


Bio:

Before School Years:  Both of her parents are older and they got married at a late age -- a second marriage for both of them.  She had two siblings with each of the parents... but she only ever met her sister, Katie.  That side of the family was Muggle-born and her magical side was never spoken of.  At least not her brother.  Desi was always curious, though, and swore she would meet her older brother one day.  

During School Years:  Desi was in a new school nearly every year of her years.  The only place where she was there for a couple years was in America.  When she was in Hogwarts, she wanted to hunt down her brother... and she was quite surprised to find that he was a newer professor there teaching DADA.  He did not seem to know who she was by any means, and it took quite a bit of courage to go up to him and introduce herself as a half-sister.  It was an awkward encounter to say the least.  While at Hogwarts, she became best friends with Penelope Clearwater -- who turned out to be Remus's half sister on his father's side!  It was such a small world!  Instantly that bonded Penny and Des and they stayed close even though Desdemona traveled all over.

During her time at Hogwarts, she also dated Oliver Wood for about half the year.  They tried to make it work long distance, but it failed.  She was happy to hear that he found interest in his fellow Quidditch player, Katie Bell.  They stayed mates when they realized that it would not work out with them.

After School Year:  Desi's family moved to Romania during her last year of school and she decided to stay in the area and work to be a Magical Animal Healer... and that was how she ended up helping dragons, hinkypunks, etc.  She actually met the man she fell in love with due to her job.

Desdemona fell in love and married Charlie Weasley.  They have a beautiful daugther together, Quinn.  She gave them quite a fright when she was younger getting devastatingly ill and nearly passing on them.  Now she just has to take some medications to help with her immune system and she is just like every other little girl -- but with overly protective parents, aunts, uncles, cousins... the poor thing!  Des tries to keep Charlie's protectiveness down to a minimum for her daughter's sake, though.

Once they passed the hump of Quinn's illness when she was merely two years old, when she was around sixteen, she was diagnosed with Leukemia.  It was devastating.  It was a hard year, but after chemotherapy, they managed to defeat the cancer.  She actually met a mate there, Graham, who became involved with her niece, Serenity.

Hey there, sis.  Well, not really, but you practically my family too.

*sighs*  Nate, you are obnoxious.  But I see that you are beautifully a Hufflepuff.  That does make us family *chuckles*

*grins*  Of course it does.  And, you know, Remus.

Remus makes a lot of people family it seems *chuckles*

That's his main quality, honestly... it's mental who he lets in sometimes.
