Personality:  Gives the impression of being silly, but is actually rather brave and courageous (when the right time comes up).  She is a very loyal mate, though a bit gullible.


Bio:

Before School Years:  Lavender is an only child and was greatly spoiled while she was younger.  Both of her parents are half-bloods and knew that their beautiful daughter would get a letter to Hogwarts (though her father went to Alma Aleron in the States) and her mother went to Beauxbatons Academy.  They had moved to England early in their marriage, though Lavender is bilingual from a very young age; she always had an English accent, however, as her mother did not have a full French accent.

During School Years:  Once she got to Hogwarts, Lavender was Sorted into Gryffindor with fellow students of Parvati, Harry, Hermione, and the like.  She instantly became best mates with Parvati Patil.  The two of them had much in common.  They both had more than traditional English decent like most students at Hogwarts -- Parvati had Indian background and Lavender had her French background.  They both ended up teaching each other the second language they each knew, making them each knowing three different languages by the time they were thirteen.

They both fell in love with Divination and Professor Trelawney.  Lavender had a quick little fling with Ron Weasley in their sixth year.  She did end up fancying Fletcher Darwin during her entire fifth year -- and she was pretty sure that he fancied her back -- but they never acted on it.  Not with him leaving school since he was in his seventh year.

After School Years:  Lavender fought in the Battle of Hogwarts in December 1998.  During the aftermath of trying to make sure her mates were all okay and to see what all happened once Harry defeated You-Know-Who, she saw Fletcher checking on his own mates like the Weasley twins, Lee Jordan, and others that were there that he was in school with.  She found out, on a different date of course, that he was nearly finished with his three years of Auror training.  And that what ended up starting her final relationship with Fletcher Darwin.  They married in the Spring of 2001.
