What do you think? -- September 1971

Well, Bella and Sirius had been sent off to Hogwarts and this was the first time the families got together after hearing about the Sorting ceremony.  I was secretly impressed that my older brother got Sorted into Gryffindor, but I could never say that out loud.  I hunted Narcissa down after supper and found her easily enough.  I sat down next to her; our parents were in the other room talking between themselves, not paying any attention to me or Cissy.  We were not the ones who were popular at the moment.  "So... how about the news of the Sorting...?" I said, chuckling nervously.  Narcissa and I had always been close, but I was not entirely sure what to say about everything.  She could keep a secret, though, we both could.  that was how we got along in this family.
