Haven't you noticed? -- TBD

I had been watching Ginny closely since she came to visit.  She was not acting entirely normal.  I was brushing my wet hair after ust getting out of the shower with Charlie.  He was still walking around our bedroom with only the towel around his waist.  I was wearing my silk little nightie.  "Babe, I'd like you ask you a question," I said quietly as I heard him brushing his teeth.  I did not want to have Ginny hear us talking about her.

I looked at Desi through the doorway.  "I doubt Ginny heard us," I answered, almost positive that was going to be the question.  If she had been that concerned, why did she agree to get frisky in the shower?

I rolled my eyes at Charlie.  I had been concerned about that, but not at this particular moment.  "Not htat, Charlie," I said to him, "though it is about Ginny."

I furrowed my brow slightly.  "What do you mean?" I inquired.  What was Desdemona going on about?

Did Charlie really not notice?  "She isn't acting right.  Have you even noticed?" I asked him.  Is he really that oblivious?

I shook my head.  "Are you sure?  It seems like she's fine to me.  A little quiet maybe," I admitted to her.  "But there is really nothing to be worried about."  I did nto think so anyways.  I slipped out of my towel and put on a pair of boxers.

I pulled the covers back on our bed and crawled beneath them.  "I think there's something wrong... I've seen soe bruises on her arms," I explained to my husband.

I joined Desi beneath the covers.  I put my arm out so she could rest her head on my chest like she enjoyed doing  "Ginny is a tad of a klutz," I said, dismissing Desdemona's notions.  "They're probaly just from falling or something."

Why was he being so dense about this?  "They aren't those types of bruises," I pointed out.  "it's something else.  I'm just not sure what is all there..."  I was really worried about what Ginny was going through.

I sat up slightly.  "You think she's in trouble?" I asked my wife.  I really did not like the sound of that at all.  This was my little sister after all.

I shrugged the best I could while laying down.  "I don't now what to think, babe.  I just think you need to talk to her," I said to Charlie.

"Why didn't you speak to her?" I questioned.  Would it not be eaier with a girl to girl talk?  Especially if it was something personal or feminine.

"Because you two have an extremely close relationship," I said gently.  "It'd be easier for you to get her to talk adn open up if the questions came from you."  I thought that would be obvious.  But I guess it was not.

"I can call the reservation tomorrow and take the day to spend with her.  Sound okay?" I suggested.  Now how was I going to get to sleep worrying about my sister?  Des could have picked a better time to talk to me about this.

I leaned up and gave him a kiss on the lips.  "She's safe here, Charlie.  Please don't worry.  Get some rest," I said to hiim quietly.  I snuggled closer to him and fell asleep.
